About Us

What is Freshwaters?

Freshwaters is the the new name for three local United Methodist churches in the Zimmerman and Princeton areas- the Princeton United Methodist Church of Princeton, MN; the Spencer Brook United Methodist Church of Princeton, MN; and the Blessed Cross United Methodist Church of Zimmerman, MN. All three churches are in the "Big Waters District" of the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

These three churches have decided to combine to better serve the community and to spread God's word and to make new disciples of Christ through the theme of "Fishing for Life". Freshwaters will operate out of all three campuses and provide a variety of services and types of worship that will utilize the strengths of each site.

Freshwaters has launched internally and is looking forward to a public launch date before fall 2010. Of course, there is a lot of work to be done but we are confident that we will be able to offer a rich worship experience for everyone.

"The River Campus" is the former Princeton United Methodist Church located at 112 N. 7th Ave. Princeton, MN 55371

"The Brook Campus" is the former Spencer Brook United Methodist Church located at 6823 305th Ave. NW Princeton, MN 55371

"The Lake Campus" is the former Blessed Cross United Methodist Church located right off Hwy. 169 at 12475 273rd Ave. NW, Zimmerman, MN 55398
